Moving on to business It’s been super busy here at HQ and with the addition of our new Sales Director Stefan Radymski. We’ve been busy meeting our panel of lenders and dealing with lots of new funding cases.
The funding team were delighted to have supported a local Trailer Service business with a £250,000 confidential invoice discounting facility, the funds replaced a restrictive overdraft and released much needed working capital to support creditor payments.
We completed on a £250,000 2nd charge business loan this week for an existing client needing working capital. The team at Nucleus were fantastic and pulled out all the stops to get this one paid out.
We have also completed on our first deal with Lending Crowd and what a great service. They provided our retail client with a £100,000 working capital loan to support further stock purchases over 5 years. This business has grown from £100,000 turnover to just over £900,000 in the space of 18 months. A cracking example of how we continue to remain in contact with our clients and are always on hand to support them with whatever funding they require.
It’s also great to see the opportunities coming in for our newly formed company Business Sustainability. Its’ early days yet but our clients and lenders are already seeing the benefits of bringing together one of the country’s leading commercial finance brokerages with a team of highly experienced turnaround specialists with their ability to help businesses from the first signs of financial stress.
We have seen a big uptake across all aspects of the group this month and the team at basecamp have really pulled together to make this a great month.
