The clocks have changed and the lighter mornings and evenings are slowly creeping in. We have had lots to keep us busy recently….
We were thrilled to be involved in the soft launch of an exciting new product in the unsecured lending arena, and we successfully achieved payout for the very first ESME Loan for one of our clients. We had exclusive early access to the portal and with the help of their fantastic team we had a great start to their offering. Rates start from as low as 0.57% per month and loans can be spread over up to 5 years. We held our March monthly team meeting at NatWest’s offices in Nottingham. We would like to thank them for their time and hospitality. We all enjoyed catching up with their business team and look forward to working closely together in 2017. April’s meeting will be held at Trent Lock Golf Club and we have a host of guests joining us to discuss new developments in the business and opportunities available to us all.
We completed on our first funding facility with Nucleus this month. Thanks to the team for their speed of response, the case paid out within 48 hours from initial enquiry when other lenders wouldn’t support.
Our MD Paul has been busy on the working capital side of the business. In the last 8 weeks he has funded 22 invoice finance deals, raising a staggering £29,580,000. The largest deal was £5.3 million and smallest was £150,000.
Personally, I would like to thank Jane for covering the office while we had a week off at Easter. It was the first time in 10 years we have had an actual “week off” with no work calls. She did a fantastic job looking after everything while we were away and it made such a difference to come back to a clear desk.
