New Appointment!
Goodman Corporate Finance, a leading corporate finance provider, has expanded its team in the South West region with the appointment of experienced banking specialist Chris Preston.
Chris, who will be based in the Sutton Harbour, Plymouth office, will provide support and advice to small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) right across the South West of England.
He has 35 years’ experience of advising SMEs through high street bankers NatWest/RBS, where he was most recently the Regional Managing Director for the South West and Wales region as well as Regional Board chairman.

As a specialist broker, Goodman offers a range of bespoke corporate finance solutions, real estate and business advisory services across industries that are key for the region, including manufacturing, engineering, farming, marine and transport.
Chris says he is really looking forward to getting back to a closer relationship with clients having undertaken several leadership roles over the past two decades. “My knowledge of the South West economy, coupled with the experience, independence and breadth of the Goodman team and its panel of more than 200 lenders, will allow me to support local and regional businesses as they look to restart, develop and prosper.
My hands-on career experience spans areas including retail, leisure and hospitality, manufacturing, property development and agricultural diversification all of which have really exciting opportunities to pursue as we emerge from what has been a really challenging time.
